Al-Shia scientific, cultural, and doctrinal website, affiliated with the Office of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid ʿAlī Ḥusaynī Sīstānī (may his authority be prolonged), was launched on the occasion of ʿĪd al-Ghadīr in 1418 AH (1998) by the Aalulbayt (ʿa.s) Global Information Center, with the aim of introducing and clarifying the teachings of the Shia school of thought.
