On Sunday, July 14, 2024, Majlisush Shurah of Ahl al-Bayt (a.s) Muslim Community, Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria represented by its Chairman; Sheikh Muhibullah Ali and the Secretary, Alhaji Hanafi AbdulKadir Ghali paid Madinat ul ‘Ilm Academy family a maiden visit during her weekly Ta’alimat Sitting being one of the 10 days outlined program in commemoration of 1446 AH ‘Ashura. The visit, which was aimed to strengthen the unity among the members of Ahl al-Bayt (a.s) in the region, featured speeches from the distinguished speakers.
During his speech, the Chairman re-emphasize on the main goal of the Majlish Shura which was to achieve unity among its members and also about the unique personality of Imam Husain (a.s). In response, the coordinator of the Academy; Engr. Oloruntoyin Tunde Zubayr, on behalf of Al-Muqaddam Ibn Maryam Berende and the entire members of Madinat al-Ilm Academy, pledged their support to the Majlisush Shurah in achieving the desired unity.
On a final note, Al Muqaddam, Ash Sheikh Ibn Maryam Abd-Allah (H) advised us all to stand by the spirit of ‘Ashura and ensure to practice sincere obedience to our leaders as prescribed by Islam.
