The Al-Abbas’s holy shrine has counted its services provided to visitors during mid-Sha’ban, on the birth anniversary of Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance). The services provided included various aspects, including medical, organizational, religious, cultural, transportation and food services, and other things that meet the needs of visitors.
The staffs of the holy shrine provided 1,525,920 glasses of water, 23,000 perfume bottles, 2,500 kg of sweets, 4,000 roses and 300 liters for perfumery. The services also included the distribution of 9,000 pamphlets for Ziyarat of the mid of Sha’ban, 3,000 publications related to the Ziyarat, and 4,620 other publications, as religious and cultural services.
The number of beneficiaries of the host restaurant of the Al-Abbas’s (p) holy shrine reached 986,862 beneficiaries, from the 1st to 14th Sha’ban, while 205 mechanisms of various sizes and types were allocated to transport visitors.
