Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Al-Sistani condemned the terrorist attack on the Shiites of Parachinar.
The text of the statement of Shia source of emulation Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Al-Sistani following the terrorist attack on the Shiites of Parachinar, Pakistan is as follows:
In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful
To God we belong and to Him we return
Faithful brothers and sisters in the city of Parachinar, Pakistan
Once again, heartless terrorists have committed a horrific crime and have martyred or injured a large number of innocent believers in an armed attack on Muslims traveling from Parachinar to Peshawar.
While offering our condolences to your loved ones and expressing our grief and sympathy to the bereaved families, we ask for patience and forbearance for all, a speedy recovery for the injured, and the highest ranks for the martyrs of this bitter event.
The Najaf Ashraf Seminary and the Supreme Shiite Authority, by condemning this horrific crime that has targeted the unity of Muslims, strongly urge the respected government of Pakistan to find a solution to protect the defenseless people from the cruelty and crimes of terrorist groups and to consider preventive and necessary measures, and not to allow innocent believers to be subjected to violent and brutal attacks by extremist groups every now and then.
We ask God Almighty to continue the honor and pride of the noble nation of Pakistan.
