The eleventh round of Dialogue between Monastic Interreligious Dialogue, headed by Father William Skudlarek, and Risalat International Institute, headed by Sheikh Dr Muhammad Ali Shomali, took place from 2 December to 5 December 2024 at the Inkamana Abbey in Vryheid, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

The dialogue at Inkamana Abbey, while focusing on a Theological Exchange on the theme “CHRISTIAN & MUSLIM BELIEFS & SPIRITUAL PRACTISES RELATED TO DEATH & THE AFTERLIFE” included dialogue of religious experience wherein the Muslim participants attended Mass and the Christian participants attended Magrib and Isha prayers.

– dialogue of action – collaboration for specific causes like liberation of people, care for the homeless, protecting the environment, ending gang violence, etc.

– dialogue of religious experience – sharing in spiritual resources, prayers, search for God together, fasting in month of Ramadan together, attending Mass, etc.
