At the 40th anniversary of the establishment of Astan Quds Razavi’s (AQR) Islamic Research Foundation, AQR’s Custodian emphasized expanding Islamic research to impact society and social changes.
According to the custodian of the research foundation, Ayatollah Ahmad Marvi, stated that Islamic research should expand beyond research institutes and be practical and impactful on social changes and daily life.
He stressed: “The ultimate goal of these efforts should be their social extension, as academic achievements must influence societal and cultural identity”. The top official highlighted the need to plan and find ways to connect scholarly works with society, following the advice of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution on the social extension of Islamic philosophy, which has been limited to academic circles so far.
