Ali Zahir, a senior official of Hezbollah, announced that the main venue for gathering in the funeral of martyrs Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safi al-Din will be the Kamil Shamoun Sports Complex. This location is the most suitable for accommodating a portion of the attendees.
In a press conference, he mentioned that the funeral procession is estimated to last around 65 minutes, which will include a speech by Hezbollah’s Secretary-General Sheikh Naeem Qassem. Afterward, the martyrs’ bodies will be transferred in a vehicle, and their route will pass through the old and new airport roads.
Zahir also added that the team responsible for invitations and protocol has registered participation from approximately 79 countries worldwide, both at the popular and official levels. He stated that this funeral will be a national-scale event, symbolizing unity and not division. February 23, 2025, will mark a new chapter of victory of blood over the sword.
