The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at Al-Abbas’s Holy Shrine in Karbala has launched its first humanitarian initiatives for African communities in Iraq during the holy month of Ramadan.
This initiative, launched by the African Studies Center of the department, came in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan, and within the Al-Kafeel food basket project to provide humanitarian, intellectual and social care to African residents in Iraq. It includes the distribution of food baskets to the families of the African communities in Najaf and the holy city of Karbala.
